Our Mission
The Philly Book Bank is dedicated to ensuring every child in Philadelphia — from birth through high school — grows up surrounded by books. We provide free, high-quality, culturally diverse children’s books to educators, families, and community programs, helping create literacy-rich spaces in homes, classrooms, and neighborhoods. By breaking down barriers to book access, we aim to end book deserts, spark a lifelong love of reading, and empower every child in our city to learn, dream, and thrive.
