The Book Bank provides books to Reading Captains, educators, organizations, and community members.
We are committed to raising a city of readers. We want every child to have a book.
Educators can get up to 400 books per school year, as well as supplemental classroom supplies.
Membership is FREE!
We offer a curated selection of books for all ages, and as diverse as our city.
We are supported by the kind and generous donations of many individual, community, and corporate partners.

MLK High School is at the intersection of Stenton Avenue and Haines Street.
Our entrance into the building is on Haines Street. Park in the lot and call (215) 279-7450. We will come to let you in or pick up your donation.
The Book Bank is open on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and by appointment for drop-offs.
